Messaging Consent

Effective Date: April 13, 2026

OpScales provides automated SMS communication services on behalf of home service businesses. This page explains how consent is obtained before any text messages are sent through our system.

How Consent Is Obtained

End users provide explicit consent to receive SMS messages by submitting their phone number through a contact or inquiry form on a business's website. At the point of submission, the following opt-in language is clearly displayed:

"By providing your phone number and submitting this form, you agree to receive SMS communications from [Business Name] including appointment confirmations, follow-up messages, and service notifications. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help."

No messages are sent to any individual who has not explicitly opted in through this process.

Nature of Messages

All messages sent through our system are directly related to the individual's submitted inquiry or service request. Messages are sent on behalf of the business the individual contacted and are limited to appointment confirmations, follow-up on service requests, and customer notifications. Messages are not sent for unrelated marketing purposes.

Opt-Out

Any individual who receives a message through our system may opt out at any time by replying STOP. No further messages will be sent after an opt-out request is received. To re-enable messages, reply START. For assistance, reply HELP or contact info@opscales.io.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on the individual's inquiry and response activity. Typically no more than 3–5 messages are sent per inquiry. Standard message and data rates may apply.
